So...Where's my money?!?!

WHERE IS MY MONEY!!!! So i worked this Math Academy Summer camp about 2 WEEKS ago...It was two weeks of babysitting..OOPS!! i meant watching 10 and 11th graders. This was a fun experience for the most part, the problems that did occur were problems started by two other counselors (thats another blog for another day) Moving on as i stated before the camp ended 2 WEEKS ago today...lol...We were promised by our director that we would receive our checks on Tuesday...So we were like cool...its just two days...Tuesday came along and i went to my campus mail box and discovered that my check wasn't there....I didn't panic i just said to myself "I give them a couple more days.....Friday rolled around and STILL NO CHECK....thats when the panic begin. I mean i was beginning to run out of funds and my phone bill was due...So i called my director just to see where my check was....of course he didn't answer.....so i went on with my weekend....Monday came and i did the same thing, i checked my campus mailbox and STILL NO CHECK..by this time im pissed as a motherfucker....i was broke and my phone was on the verge of being turned off (another blog for another day)...So i sent a text to my fellow counselors just to see if they heard anything concerning onto our checks....to no surprise they didn't hear anything either...so the week goes on...and i get more and more pissed...So i decided to take matter into my own hands...i decided to take a trip to visit the director of the program. Of course he was not there...So i asked his secretary about my DAMN check..she told me that the checks were still in the system....So my question is WHAT IN THE HELL IS THE SYSTEM?!?! T-Mobile does not want to hear that the system has there money...all they want is their money....The next day T-Mobile yanked my shit...and that opened an entire new can of worms....Currently i am without money, my phone is off...and the system is flourishing from my check. I honestly don't know what im going to do if i go to my mailbox on Monday and my check isn't there...But hey, I'm mad...but i am surviving....times like this help you to see who your real friends are.

Musical Movement....

I attended Victory Deliverance Church to day with Marcus. This is a non-denominational church off brick church road in Nashville. As i entered this church immediately i watched as the people of the congregation communicated with each other. This was truly a family atmosphere, everyone greeted each other with love and kindness. I was even greeted like i had been a member for decades. Service was opened up by their dynamic choir and instrumental section. They sung angelically to the top of their voices uplifting God through song. This was also my first time seeing/hearing Marcus perform on his Saxophone.....he quickly proved to me that he was an excellent musician. I watched as Marcus moved the congregation through his saxophone solo. He changed the environment to a holy ghost filled place...with every note he played, every rhythm he created, God moved through him today. This praise and worship lasted for about an hour, so much that the pastor had to change the order of the service to accommodate for the Holy Spirit moving...Women screamed, children cried, people begged for forgiveness.....The pastor was finally able to move on with the service, he ministered from the book of Genesis....BY the end of his dynamic sermon he was able convince 2 saints to walk through the doors of the Church. ....................................Before i can end this i can't do so without saying THANK-YOU lord for all you have done for me. 2007 was a period in my life where i thought i wasn't going to make it to 2008. But you had a different road for me....That road was a road filled with SUCCESS, PEACE, and PROSPERITY and for that i give you all the glory!

Great Day...

Well, last night ended kind of early....if you read my blog about Nashville Shores you would know i had a BLAST...unfortunately that "blast" tired me out..lol..I went to BED on a SATURDAY night at 9:30...However i woke up this morning well rested and ready to go to church! Church is a place i haven't been in a while...Not because i didn't want to just because i partied so hard the night before i couldn't get up the following morning!..I'm going to start doing better, i don't want to praise God when everything is going bad...I want to do it all the even when things are good!

The wrap up!

MAANNNNNNN today was so much FUNN!! By far the most fun i have had in a while...Me my brother Brandon, and a friend of mines Marcus went to Nashville Shores and wilded out.....We swam in a lake filled with trampolines, icebergs, and other water inflatables...we went on water slides, and played some miniature golf! This was by far the highlight of the weekend! Well I'm tried as heck now so i will catch you next time...(Probably tonight, i mean it is Saturday...lol)

Headache/Plans for tonday!

If you read my last blog you know about the terrible headache i went to bed with......Yeah, So i woke up with that same headache, i know it's not because i have eaten seeing that i had a #5 sonic meal last night......Oh well can't let this hold me back, i have too much planned to do today!........I have to help clean Wilson hall, then I'm working out, after me and some of my friends are going to Nashville Shores, a local water park. This is something i really need....i seen water or fun outdoor fun in a while!......

My First Blog!

WOW...After much consideration and thought i have decided to join the "blog" network. This is something that i have looked at as being a fad that wouldn't last. However, to no adue it has become a popular pastime, so much to the point where i have decided to join.

Let's see where do i start at...Well i woke up this morning to the sound of rain beating against my window, i knew immediately that this was going to be a rather difficult day. The time was approximately 10: 17 when i decided to get up from bed and get my day started. I arose knowing that today was going to be the day that i finished this presentation i was assigned to do for my Student Government Association retreat. The presentation is "Influence" and why it's important in leadership. So I whitened my teeth, got dressed and headed out to get started on this task.

I arrived at the Ford Residential Complex at Tennessee State University (My apt complex) at 12:00pm. I clocked in, being that i also work there :-)...and logged on a computer and went to work....In the process of doing this i was interrupted once by an individual who was just arriving to check in. So i kindly stopped to assist this young man in getting checked in. The funny thing about this situation was i had never check anyone in before and there was no in the office to assist me in doing so. Me being the type of person who never likes to appear lost or dumbfounded.....i continued the check-in the best way i knew possible. I gave the young man the need paper work and he filled it out accordingly. Upon his completion i grab the master keys and we both left in search of a finding a room. The first apt we went was 28** and the bathroom was filthy...It reeked of piss and shit...IT WAS JUST AWFUL...SO the young man asked if we could try another one, and we did...The next room we went to appeared OK...until we discovered that there were hundreds of dead flies on the stove..to no adue, we left that apt also...The final apt we visited was mine. We entered it and of course it was clean (don't play that dirty shit)...no flies, and the bathrooms were clean....however, the room he would be staying in door was broken. So we headed back to the office and he asked Ms. Bass if he could stay in my apt, she saiod sure, as long as you sign a contract stating that you will not hold the school responsible for any stolen or damaged property that is a result of the door being broken. I then returned back to finish up my presentation....after about two hours i finished and i left to retire back to my quarters. As i walked in i was overwhelmed with a throbing heade ache....This was a result of me not eating ANYTHING all day...SO i grab a sandwhich, and some water and chilled for about 2 and 3/4's of a minute...lol....then i started writing my blog!
